Anna Matiushina is a permanent makeup artist with a medical background (formerly a nurse and cosmetologist) and 9 years of PMU experience. She has performed over 3,000 procedures and specializes in: powder brows, realistic “hair strokes” created with a tattoo machine (nano/machine strokes), lipstick and watercolor lip blush, lash line enhancement, and eyeliner (including soft shaded / smoky wing eyeliner). Anna is a national competition winner—taking 1st place specifically in the “shaded eyeliner” category—and was later invited to serve as a judge at professional PMU championships. She also provides scar camouflage in the brow area, lips, and scalp, as well as correction and cover-up of old or poorly done permanent makeup by other artists (consultation required). In her work, Anna focuses on safety, sterility, and natural, predictable healed results. She has trained in color theory and brow architecture, as well as color and fine-line mini tattoos, and developed her own method for selecting the most natural, harmonious pigment shade—taking into account skin tone, eye and hair color, age, and skin type.
